高三英语作文(一)

Dreams play an important role in our daily life and a good dream is the motivation to success. To realize a dream, one should learn to defeat difficulties through constant struggles as well as persistence.

Like most people, there was a time when I dreamed of being an excellent student in my English after entering junior middle school, though my English was very poor then. To catch up with my classmates, I made up my mind to learn English well and made pen-friends with some foreign students so as to practise my spoken English and improve my written English. Although some of my classmates often went to the movies in the evening, seldom did I take part in such activities. Instead, I set aside to concentrate on my English and won the Final English Speech Contest around the city this term, realizing my dream.

Now, I also have a dream. As a Senior 3 student, I hope that I can be admitted to a key university after graduation from middle school. Of course, whether my dream will come true depends on my personal efforts. Although life is full of ups and downs, I choose to go forward bravely. I strongly believe that where there is a dream, there is hope and there is a way.

梦想在我们的日常生活中起着重要的作用,一个好的梦想是成功的动力。实现一个梦想,一个人应该学会战胜困难通过不断的斗争以及持久性。

和大多数人一样,曾经有一段时间,我梦想成为一个优秀的学生在进入初中后我的英语,虽然我的英语很差。赶上我的同学,我下定决心要学好英语,和一些外国的笔友寄点什么学生,练习我的英语口语,提高我的书面英语。尽管我的一些同学常常在晚上去看电影,以前我很少参加这样的活动。相反,我留出专注于我的英语,赢得了最后的英语演讲比赛在城市这一项,实现我的梦想。

现在,我也有一个梦想。作为一个高三学生,我希望我可以考上一个重点大学毕业后中学。当然,我的梦想能否成真取决于个人的努力。虽然人生充满了起起落落,我选择勇敢地前进。我坚信,有梦想,有希望,有一种方法。

ucked away in our subconscious is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls.

我们的潜意识里藏着一派田园诗般的风光。我们仿佛身处一次横贯大陆的漫漫旅程之中。 乘着火车，我们领略着窗外流动的景色：附近高速公路上奔驰的汽车、十字路口处招手的孩童、远山上吃草的牛群、源源不断地从电厂排放出的烟尘、一片片的玉米和小麦、平原与山谷、群山与绵延的丘陵、天空映衬下城市的轮廓，以及乡间的庄园宅第。

But uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we get there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering --waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.

然而我们心里想得最多的却是最终的目的地。 在某一天的某一时刻, 我们将会抵达进站。 迎接我们的将是乐队和飘舞的彩旗。一旦到了那儿, 多少美梦将成为现实, 我们的生活也将变得完整, 如同一块理好了的拼图。可是我们现在在过道里不耐烦地踱来踱去, 咒骂火车的拖拖拉拉。 我们期待着, 期待着, 期待着火车进站的那一刻。

可是我们终究会认识到人生的旅途中并没有车站, 也没有能够"一到永逸"的地方。生活的真正乐趣在于旅行的过程, 而车站不过是个梦, 它始终遥遥于我们。

Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination. In Australia, the sky is bluer than blue, the clouds are whiter than white, all the local people enjoy an optimistic and active life. They also show their kindness and enthusiasm to the tourists. The first step should be Sydney Opera which is among the most brilliant and splendid architectures in the world. Many world-class plays are put on in it .The surface and shape of it is like a seashell with glory decorations inside. Then Melbourne is a good choice to be as the next step. In Melbourne, skin screen is a must to take with as the sunshine is upset and may burn your skin. The most attractive thing to me is the Australia Open, which is one of the biggest world-class tennis competition. Many great players such as Roddick Federer and its local player Hewitt etc. gather to compete. It’s really a feast for the eyes. Australia is also home to one of the most challenging and exciting surfing and diving projects. As we know, it is always called “a country riding on the back of sheep”. From the interesting saying ,we can know something about the rich production country. If you love animals, kangaroos and kaolas are good company to you . Language is essential; language is what we use to communicate among others. it is something that joins us just as strongly as it separates us. There are many different “languages” in the world but really they are all bound by certain rules, they all have a format that they follow, all of them have nouns, verbs, tenses, and adjectives.

Language is almost like a math, the point of it is that when you speak, you try to reach a conclusion with a different person, and in math you use equations to solve problems and reach conclusions, one is numbers the other is words.
